The café – restaurant on the Street with the name that is the address.

Situated at the lake end of Tutanekai Street we offer a full menu from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm Monday to Saturday -  10.00 am to late Sunday. The selection starts with breakfast (9.00 am to 5 pm) – lunch  – dinner menu is available from open to close, as is our dessert menu. We offer a range of Gluten Free and vegetarian options on the menu.

Outside dinning is available during the summer both on the street and in our own exclusive courtyard, bounded by a low wall, which allows diners to observe the passing parade without people wandering through their space. We also have a cosy fire during the winter months.

 The cuisine offered is New Zealand – Pacific rim flavours with a constantly changing list of specials according to the season. There is no deep fry on the menu. Being fully licensed there is a good range of beverages available at all times including New Zealand wines. (BYO, wine only, is an option.)

Stonegrill dining was added to our menu in June 2005 and offers a unique taste in dinning. With all meats trimmed of fat and presented on a very hot (400º C ) Stonegrill which cooks the meat at the table.

We have a stated aim, on our menu, that we are “committed to offering fresh, wholesome meals in a friendly atmosphere, at value for money whilst endeavouring to cater to you, the individual”.
